Art for the health of it returns

A new Art For The Health Of It exhibit will be on display through July in the west entrance reception and waiting area in the Hannibal Clinic. After retirement as a professional educator and facilitator of learning for 37 years, featured artist Sharon Wasteney turned her focus to creative quilting. She especially values preserving family traditions through intergenerational sharing of family stories and keeps that in mind when designing quilts to share with others. Personal memories and reflections of nature and rural life are used as inspiration. The exhibit is part of an ongoing partnership between the Hannibal Arts Council and the Hannibal Clinic.
