Larry Hinds, Harvest Outreach Ministries executive director, presents a certificate of appreciation to the First United Methodist Church during the Loaves and Fishes Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Sunday, Feb. 9. The United Methodist Church has graciously allowed their facility to be used for many years to house the daily Loaves and Fishes Feeding Program, which is under the direction of Harvest Outreach Ministries. Loaves and Fishes provides a hot meal to anyone in need from 5-6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 901 Broadway. This ministry is made possible thanks to countless volunteers who provide and prepare the food daily. More information about Loaves and Fishes is available by contacting Larry Hinds at 573-248-6323.
