Northeast Regional Arthritis Center and Hannibal Parks & Recreation announce winner of Twain Tracks Walking Challenge

Hilary Mossell won first place honors in the Twain Tracks Walking Challenge. Mossell walked a total of 177.1 miles during the six-week challenge in November and December 2019.

HANNIBAL | The Arthritis Foundation, in partnership with the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department, offered a Twain Tracks Walking Challenge from Nov. 11, 2019 to just before Christmas, Dec. 19, 2019. 

The participants were encouraged to be active by walking and keeping track of their daily steps. Fifteen challengers competed in this six-week event. First place was awarded to Hilary Mossell with 177.1 miles, second place went to Ted Fix with 114.4 miles and third place was awarded to Georgia Clark with 114.0 miles. All participants walked a total of 621.9 miles during the six weeks leading up to Christmas.

The NERAC and Hannibal Parks & Recreation would like to thank all that participated in the Twain Tracks walking challenge and encourage everyone to remain active.
