Westhoff scores late winner for Hannibal

HANNIBAL – Karson Westhoff scored the go-ahead goal for the Hannibal boys soccer team with nine minutes remaining in regulation to give the Pirates a 2-1 victory over Marshall in North Central Missouri Conference play Saturday afternoon at Veterans Field.

Westhoff's goal came after Marshall had tied the game with 35 minutes remaining.

Hannibal's Nathan DeStefane scored the game's opening goal four minutes in. The Pirates (7-2, 4-1 NCMC) had 15 shots, but only six were on goal.

Parker Terrill made nine saves for the Pirates.
