HANNIBAL - The Hannibal High School Guidance Department will host a FAFSA Frenzy and Apply Missouri event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Annex room A104.

FAFSA Frenzy is a statewide program that is provided to help students complete a Free Application for Student Aid. Completing this application is the first step to securing most forms of federal and state financial aid, including some scholarships. FAFSA Frenzy is open to any high school senior in the area and current college students. Hannibal High School counselors will provide free one-on-one assistance in completing the 2020-21 FAFSA on site and receive information on the next steps in the financial aid process.

Students and parents will need to bring tax information from 2018 or they can use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to access tax information online.

The Apply Missouri event will also be held at this time. During this event counselors will assist any students who wish to apply to a college or technical school with their online applications. All students and parents that attend will receive door prizes. Those unable to attend this event may contact the guidance center to schedule an individual meeting.
