Palmyra's Arch named CCC COY

Palmyra softball coach Jill Arch was named the Clarence Cannon Conference Coach of the Year after leading Palmyra to the league title.

The all-conference selections, along with coach and player of the year picks were announced Tuesday.

Palmyra had four players named all-CCC first team in pitcher Brooke Lawson, catcher Megan Stone and infielder Cameron O'Brien. Bailey Lovelace was named first-team utility.

Monroe City had three first-team picks in infielder Lauren Youngblood, catcher Bailee Hays and outfielder Carly Youngblood.

Highland's Lauren Merrell was named Player of the Year.
