Bonnie Tischer, 86, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 7:51 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at her home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Clover Road Christian Church in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate.
Burial will be at Grand View Burial park in Hannibal.
Friends and Family are invited to Bonnie's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Bonnie was born June 24, 1933, in Hannibal to Russell Hartsock and Velma Cawthon Hartsock.
She was married to Dale W. Tischer, Sr. on September 29, 1950, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2002.
Survivors include three Sons, Dale W. "Wes" Tischer , Jr. (Eloise) of Hannibal, David L. Tischer (Lynn) of Hannibal, Darell Tischer (Lori) of Hannibal, one Daughter, Lisa Carter (Perry) of Hannibal, one brother, Kenneth P. Hartsock (Judy) of Hannibal, one half-sister, Marlene Harris Hawes of South Dakota, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter Sally Tischer.
An avid doll collector, Bonnie enjoyed restoring vintage porcelain dolls. She even made keepsake dolls for her granddaughters.
Fishing for crappie at Mark Twain Lake also was a favorite pastime for Bonnie.
Genealogy research, planning and reminiscing for her Hannibal High School reunions and meeting her high school friends each Friday for coffee also were times Bonnie enjoyed. Bonnie loved to bake and liked to use family recipes for her fruit cake and pineapple upside down cake. Most of all Bonnie loved her family, whether hosting Christmas Eve or spending time with her grandchildren, Bonnie cherished her family.
Bonnie was a member of Clover Road Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Austin Carter, John Tischer, Jace Tischer, Dalton Hawkinson, Carter Hawkinson, Brendan Callahan and Jack Callahan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clover Road Christian Church or Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch.
