Mobile COVID-19 testing offered for veterans

HANNIBAL | The Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo., and the Columbia Vet Center are teaming up to provide mobile COVID-19 screening and testing services for veterans.

Health administrators will be on-site to facilitate rapid enrollment for those who qualify. 

Enrolled veterans and those who qualify for enrollment at the event will be tested.The purpose of providing on-site, mobile services is to ensure that area veterans have access to COVID-19 screening and testing.

In Hannibal, the testing will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Marion County Health Department  at 3105 Palmyra Road.

HANNIBAL | Evan Dalton, 12, center, won the local boys' fence painting contest on Friday, July 3, qualifying him to compete in the national championship on July 4. Finalists were Landyn Essig, 12, second, and Logan Essig, 10, third.
