Dance team hosts competitive dance showcase

Waynesville High School’s Rhythm Nation Dance Team hosted its first Dancing With the Stars … Rhythm Nation Edition on Friday, March 27, 2026, in the WHS gym.

Teachers, staff and students danced together in a fun and competitive dance showcase competition with the following winning the event:

· 1st place: Dr. Jake Kloeppel and Mary Grace Allen

· 2nd place: Monica Vega and Alyson Salas

· 3rd place: Grace Kristek and Samantha Gadsden
