Florida man injured in motorcycle crash near Palmyra

PALMYRA — A Florida man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after losing control of his motorcycle and overturning in Marion County.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 3:56 p.m. on Missouri Route 168, about 1 mile east of Palmyra, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Authorities said a 36-year-old man from Crawfordville, Florida, was riding a 2025 Honda CRF125F westbound when the motorcycle overturned onto its side.

The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. He was transported by Marion County EMS to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
