HANNIBAL — Hannibal Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad officers arrested several individuals following two recent searches at residences on Broadway and Carriage Road in Hannibal, and a Palmyra resident has been arrested in the latest stage of the drug distribution investigation.

ACES officers reported the arrest of Justin R. Stiles, 44, of Palmyra, who was charged with the felony of distribution of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine. The 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant charging Stiles with Distribution of a Controlled Substance with a bond set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Stiles was taken into custody Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Springfield. He was transported to the Marion County Jail where he is currently lodged.

More enforcement action may be announced in the coming weeks as the ACES continue their efforts to pursue people engaged in the sale of dangerous drugs in the community.
