Blessing Health System leader earns onboarding, retention certification

QUINCY — Taylor Janus, provider recruitment and onboarding lead at Blessing Health System, has earned a specialized certification recognizing her expertise in onboarding and retaining healthcare providers.
Janus received the Onboarding and Retention Certificate from the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment, a credential designed to help recruitment professionals build and sustain programs that support long-term success for physicians and other providers.
To earn the certification, Janus completed a two-day training program, passed a comprehensive examination, and developed a workplace project demonstrating how the concepts could be applied to everyday provider recruitment and retention efforts.
Janus has worked at Blessing since August 2015, advancing through several roles within the health system’s provider recruitment department, including provider recruitment assistant, provider recruitment specialist, and provider recruitment and retention specialist, before moving into her current leadership position.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a master’s degree in human resource management from Lindenwood University.
Janus resides in Quincy and is a member of the national recruitment association, as well as the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity alumni organization.
