Hannibal Concert Association announces 2026-2027 season lineup

HANNIBAL — The Hannibal Concert Association will open its 2026-2027 season Oct. 3, continuing a tradition of bringing professional touring musicians to the Hannibal area that dates back to 1945.
This season’s lineup spans a range of musical styles, from brass and classical piano to vocal harmony, wind band music, and ragtime.
The season begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, with Alliance Brass, a Chicago-based brass quintet, performing at the Hannibal-LaGrange University Roland Fine Arts Center, 2800 Palmyra Road. The group’s program will draw from 250 years of American music, including works by Aaron Copland, American folk songs, orchestral pieces, and traditional marches.
Father-son piano duo Ryan & Ryan will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Calvary Baptist Church, 4605 W. Ely Road. Donald and Barron Ryan’s program will feature the music of composer George Gershwin, among other works.
The Jersey Tenors, a male vocal quartet, will open the new year at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center, performing a mix of opera and rock standards, including music by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Kool and the Gang, and Whitney Houston.
The St. Louis Wind Symphony, a 65-member ensemble founded in 1998 and made up largely of current and former music educators from Missouri and Illinois, will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at the HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center.
The season closes with Cherry & Jerry, a St. Louis-based piano and percussion duo, performing ragtime, early blues, and jazz standards at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center.
Single tickets cost $25 for adults and $5 for students. Season passes are $65 for individuals and $125 for couples or parents with children, while patron memberships range from $175 to $1,000 and include multiple season passes depending on the level. Season ticket holders also receive free or discounted admission to performances by the Keokuk Concert Association and the Quincy Civic Music Association.
