Siblings perform at Pike County Fair Gospel Sing, raise funds for local charities

BOWLING GREEN — Siblings Donna Grote and Richard Biggs performed “When I Lay My Isaac Down” during the annual Pike County Fair Gospel Sing on Saturday, part of an evening of traditional hymns and contemporary religious music performed by area church choirs, soloists, and duets.

More than 250 people attended the event, which was hosted by Prayer and Action in Christ Together, a local faith-based organization known as PACT.

A free-will offering collected during the event raised $1,454, which will be split between the Hope Center and the Bowling Green Ministerial Alliance to support local residents in need.

The Pike County Fair continues through Aug. 1 at the Pike County Fairgrounds on U.S. Highway 54 east of Bowling Green. A full schedule of events is available on the fair’s website.
