Blessing hosting hiring event for direct patient care careers

QUINCY — Blessing Health System will host a walk-in hiring event Aug. 26 for job seekers interested in entry-level direct patient care careers, part of the health system’s ongoing Walk-In Wednesday hiring series.

The event will run from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Blessing Hospital auditorium. Attendees will have the chance to interview directly with department leaders and learn about open positions, including certified nursing assistant, non-certified patient care assistant, psychiatric technician, and other direct patient care roles.

Job seekers can also receive help with resumes and cover letters and get information on employee benefits offered by Blessing Health during the event.

Organizers said the hiring event is intended to make it easier for people considering a health care career to connect with hiring managers, ask questions, and explore opportunities to work with patients and families throughout the region. No appointment is necessary to attend.
