LaGrange youth center plans fundraising carnival

LAGRANGE — The LaGrange Community Youth Center will host a carnival fundraiser this month to support programs and resources for youth heading into the new school year.

The event is set for noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 22 at the youth center, 405 W. Jefferson St. Organizers said proceeds will go toward programs, activities, and resources that benefit youth, families, and the broader community served by the center.

The youth center, which describes itself as “a place for kids where people care,” serves children and families in the LaGrange area and northeast Missouri more broadly.
