HANNIBAL — The Hannibal Arts Council will hold its annual meeting and present its 2026 Paragon Art Awards on Aug. 13, an event organizers say celebrates the people and organizations behind the city’s arts community.

The free, public event runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the arts council, 105 S. Main St. It opens with light refreshments and time for attendees to explore the gallery’s current exhibits and connect with local artists and arts supporters.

At 7 p.m., the council will present its Paragon Art Awards, recognizing individuals, businesses, organizations, and projects that made notable contributions to the arts in the community over the past year. The evening will also include a brief annual meeting reviewing the council’s accomplishments and recognizing newly elected and returning members of its Board of Directors.

Reservations are encouraged but not required. Those planning to attend can RSVP by noon Aug. 13 by phone or email.
